Chalk Horse - Art Gallery fitout, warehouse loading dock conversion

Off a back lane in the middle of the rag trade district in Surry Hills, this gallery space was inserted into the existing loading dock of an old warehouse building. A simple and flexible space was created to open out onto the lane, activating the street front and creating a social public space during gallery openings.
