City Arbour

2019 – 2020

In collaboration with Sue Barnsley Design & Event Engineering

The arbour was an opportunity to create a colourful and joyful planted element to the public domain, casting shade and softening the experience along an otherwise exposed and busy transit route. The form of the structures references other public park elements in the area, and finely held tension cables carry scented flowering plants across from post to post, changing over the course of the year, and marking the seasons with an abundance of scent and colour.
