Broken Hill Mental Health Care Facility

A planted courtyard with inhabitable edges, shaded undercrofts + overlapping uses was proposed at the centre of a new mental health care facility in Broken Hill. Domestic in scale, the new building occupies a prominent corner whilst providing a place of retreat and welcome. Multiple entry points fragment the program and blur the threshold between park and street, public and private.
